Thailand started conducting health checks for symptoms of monkeypox since 24 May. The checks previously carried out were to identify travellers who showed symptoms of COVID-19. According to media reports, health staff at airports have been instructed to now also check for symptoms of monkeypox.

In addition, travellers are required to fill out a health form upon arrival, which includes instructions to report to Thai health authorities once travellers are aware of monkeypox symptoms.
