Taiwan: Entry restrictions to be eased from 29 September

According to media reports published on Thursday (22 September), current quarantine requirements are set to be lifted on or around 13 October, as planned by the government. However, travellers will still be required to monitor their health status for seven consecutive days. In addition, travellers entering the country from next Thursday (29 September) will have to take a rapid antigen test on arrival in Taiwan, rather than a PCR test.
