Slovakia: Full lockdown to take effect from Thursday (25 November)
Datum: 24. November 2021 17:55
Slovakia’s government on Wednesday (24 November) ordered a two-week lockdown that will include restrictions for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. As of Thursday (25 November), hospitality venues and non-essential shops and businesses will be closed, and travel will only be allowed for essential reasons, including going to work.
Details will be announced later this evening by Prime Minister Heger.
Slovakia on Monday already imposed lockdown-like restrictions for the unvaccinated in order to curb rising infection and hospitalization rates, and to ramp up vaccinations.
