On Friday (7 January), the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) updated its list of international risk areas. Based on the new classification, Nigeria will be listed as an international high-risk area with effect from Sunday (9 January). This means that from 9 January, a travel warning is issued by the Federal Foreign Office for Nigeria.
