Germany: RKI to remove all high-risk areas from 3 March
Datum: 2. März 2022 07:31
As the Robert Koch Institute on Tuesday evening (1 March) announced on its website, all countries currently classified as high-risk areas will be removed from the list with effect from tomorrow. As of Thursday (3 March), only those regions in which more dangerous variants than the currently dominant Omicron variant are spreading will be designated as high-risk areas. As such, a total of 62 countries will be removed from the list on Thursday (3 March), and quarantine requirements will no longer apply when returning from these regions. Unvaccinated travellers and those who have not recovered must still provide a test.
