Germany: New regulation to facilitate entry as of 4 March
Datum: 21. Februar 2022 09:39
According to a draft amendment to the entry regulation by the Federal Ministry of Health, children up to and including the age of eleven are to be exempted from the quarantine obligation in future when returning from high-risk areas if they can present negative proof of testing. This is what various media report unanimously. In addition, other states are only to be designated as high-risk areas if a corona mutant is rampant there that is more dangerous than the Omikron variant. The measures are intended to make travelling easier before the Easter holidays, especially for families. The changes are to be passed by the cabinet on Wednesday (23 February) and are expected to come into force on 4 March.
