The Federal Cabinet decided on Wednesday (28 September) to further extend the entry regulations. It was last supposed to be valid until the end of September and will now remain in force until at least 31 January 2023.

Since the end of May, entrants do not require proof of negative tests, vaccination, or recovery anymore. Stricter regulations may come into play when an area is designated as a virus variant area. Currently, however, no country is considered a virus variant area.
