Denmark: Restrictions to be further eased from 11 June

The Danish government on Thursday (10 June) announced further relaxations of current COVID-19 restrictions in place. As of Friday (11 June), hospitality venues will be allowed to stay open until midnight, from mid-July closing hours will be extended to 2 am. Effective next Monday (14 June), the obligation to wear masks in public will be almost entirely abolished, with masks remaining mandatory only when using public transportation. The requirement to wear masks will then be completely lifted from 1 September 2021.
